In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales and field execution, ensuring residential and commercial landscaping projects are completed safely, profitably, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Crew Supervision: Lead, mentor, and evaluate crew leaders, foremen, and field staff.
- Logistics Scheduling: Coordinate daily routes, project timelines, and crew assignments.
- Resource Procurement: Source and manage inventory for plants, mulch, and hardscape materials.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and safety tracking of trucks, mowers, equipment and tools.
- Financial Tracking: Monitor job costing, labor hours, and material budgets to maximize profitability.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations across all job sites.
- Client Relations: Conduct quality checks and resolve client issues during project execution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5+ years of leadership experience specifically within the landscaping or green industry.
- Horticultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of plant care, turf management, and irrigation systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and retain diverse field crews.
- Sales experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with landscaping management software (e.g., Aspire, LMN, Jobber).
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to handle weather delays, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
