Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Paramedic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about emergency medicine and providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls promptly and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured
- Assess the patient's condition and determine a course of treatment
- Administer medications and operate medical equipment
- Transport patients to the ER or other medical facilities as needed
- Collaborate with EMTs, nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless patient care
- Complete and maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols
- Follow all company SOP's
Qualifications
- Current certification as a New York State Paramedic, in good standing with North Country Regional EMS.
- ACLS, PALS and BLS cards required.
- Prior experience working as a Paramedic for an Emergency Ambulance company is preferred
- Valid New York State Drivers Licenser Class E or higher is required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job
