- Builds and reviews charts prior to patient visit to determine need for referral or pre-authorization.
- Obtains and inputs pre-authorization, insurance, and demographic information into our Electronic Medical Records system.
- Verifies patient benefits and eligibility prior to completing referral.
- Reminds patients of upcoming appointments and/or changes to schedule.
- Collects payments and pertinent insurance information.
- Provides patients, family members and referral sources with information pertaining to policies and procedures as well as services provided at SPT.
- Schedules patients for evaluations, re-evaluations and treatments.
- Scans and files paperwork accurately for team success.
- Maintains inventory, orders supplies and performs other office related duties.
- Always adheres to HIPPA guidelines.
