Every patient who walks through our doors has already taken one of the hardest steps—they've asked for help.
At Medi-Weightloss Princeton, we believe lasting transformation happens through compassionate care, evidence-based medicine, personalized wellness, education, accountability, and encouragement. We don't simply help patients lose weight—we help them improve their health, regain confidence, and build sustainable habits for life.
We’re looking for an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up. This is an opportunity to join a new clinic where you'll serve as the lead provider, mentor a talented clinical team, and help shape an outstanding patient experience from day one.
If you're passionate about nutrition, preventive medicine, lifestyle change, and developing meaningful relationships with patients, we'd love to meet you.
Position Overview
As the lead medical provider, you'll combine clinical excellence with education, encouragement, and accountability to help patients achieve lasting results.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care

- Educate patients on supplements, wellness products, hormone optimization therapies, and IV nutrient therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.
- Coordinate referrals when clinically appropriate.
- Conduct follow-up communication to encourage patient success and address concerns.
- Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients through active listening, education, encouragement, and individualized care.
Clinical Leadership
- Serve as the lead provider and clinical resource for the team.
- Mentor Medical Assistants and other clinical staff.
- Provide clinical oversight of patient care and quality initiatives.
- Review clinical reports, KPIs, and patient outcome metrics.
- Participate in ongoing staff education and training.
- Help improve workflows, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
- Support implementation of new clinical services, including hormone optimization and IV nutrient therapy.
- Collaborate closely with clinic leadership to help grow the practice while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Current New Jersey DEA registration (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Current CAQH profile (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment and professionalism
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and exceptional patient care
Experience We Value
Preferred experience or interest in:

- Nutrition counseling
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Training is available for team members interested in expanding their skills in hormone optimization, IV therapy support, and other wellness services.
This Role Is FOR you if you are someone who:
- Believes obesity is a chronic disease deserving compassionate medical care.
- Loves coaching patients just as much as treating them.
- Celebrates patient victories—both big and small.
- Wants to develop long-term relationships with patients.
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
- Wants to help build a special culture from the ground up.
This Role is NOT for you if:
- You enjoy treating conditions but not coaching lifestyle change.
- You're uncomfortable discussing nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification.
- You're looking for a role focused solely on prescribing medications rather than educating, motivating, and inspiring patients.
Compensation
- Competitive salary (Commensurate with Experience)
- Professional development reimbursement
- Employee discounts on supplements, products, and treatments
Position Details
- Part-Time (24–30 hours/week) or per diem (6-12 hours/week)
