Established in 2012, PayMore is an electronics buying, selling, trading and recycling franchise. We offer cash on the spot for new, used, and broken electronics. We also retail new and PayMore certified electronics in our store locations.

We are looking to add an efficient, hard-working individual that will excel in our Retail & eCommerce department. If you are tech savvy, energetic, love sales, love speaking/building relationships with customers while buying and selling a wide range of today’s hottest electronics [closing deal after deal], such as iPhones and MacBooks, to Nintendo 64 consoles and games, this position is for you. This position is a strong-sales, people person, and tech savvy position. Your main responsibilities are buying, selling and relationship building with on-the-go data entry and closing sale after sale. Followed up with cleaning, testing, and accurately listing a wide range of electronics for our online platforms. Job Description

This is a strong sales and people person position. With a focus on developing customer relationships and providing outstanding customer service in both a retail and eCommerce environment. You will build relationships with customers throughout the day, and close multiple sales all day buying, selling and trading. You will identify and test a wide range of consumer electronics from our customers varying from broken iPhones to retro gaming systems and everything in between. You will consult with customers looking to purchase, and trade devices. As well as ensuring each item is properly cleaned, fully tested, documented, and listed online.

Buying & Trading: You will be determining pricing for a wide range of electronics from smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems and more through our software, and referencing additional resources provided. You must have the ability to negotiate pricing with our customers while keeping a professional attitude, demeanor and business acumen. This position is front-facing and you will be representing our business.

Selling: You will quickly position yourself as the electronic expert to our customers looking to purchase preowned devices from us with warranties. You will guide them, and build a relationship with them while ringing in sales and upselling.

Testing & Product Prep: You will evaluate and test a wide variety of electronics using our established procedures and tools. This includes verifying functionality, wiping data when needed, identifying defects, completing checklists, and preparing items for photography and listing. Strong attention to detail is essential—small mistakes can lead to returns or listing errors.

Cleaning & Refurb Prep: You will thoroughly clean and prepare devices to meet our listing standards. This includes cosmetic cleaning, removing stickers, organizing accessories, and ensuring products are photo-ready and presentable.

eCommerce Listings: You will accurately enter product information into our POS and eCommerce systems, including condition notes, specs, serial numbers, and pricing. This requires strict focus, accuracy, and the ability to remain productive in a fast-paced environment.

Daily responsibilities include

• Greeting new customers, building relationships with new and existing customers.
• Quickly bench testing electronic devices that come in for trade or sale (smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems, video games, misc devices).
• Quickly searching through our POS system for values of these devices, and other means of information for pricing, product info, selling trends and more.
• Making on the spot decisions based off your analysis to purchase or offer trade for the devices
• Deliver and negotiate offers for cash payments and trade offers with the customers in a professional and confident manner.
• Have ongoing consumer electronics knowledge such as products, selling trends, features and more to explain the offer to the customer if need be.
• Create accurate intake records by inventorying the devices in our POS system.
• Pay the customer and build a relationship.
• Receiving, organizing, and preparing incoming electronics for testing.
• Cleaning devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems, and more.
• Bench testing devices using company checklists and procedures.
• Data wiping and verifying settings when needed.
• Accurately entering product information into our POS and eCommerce systems.
• Creating clean, accurate records with serial numbers and item details.
• Preparing products for photography and packaging after listing.
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Staying focused and productive throughout the day with minimal distraction.

Candidate must

• 5+ years of previous electronics experience, or a lifelong love and ability to impress with consumer electronic knowledge.
• 2+ years of general sales experience is required.
• 2 + years of eBay selling experience PREFERRED.
• Must be able to communicate with customers, while typing a minimum of 45WPM with top accuracy PREFERRED.
• Must have excellent electronics knowledge and handling of smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems – e.g., data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows use, MacOS use.
• Must be able to quickly identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics while still communicating with customers in a high paced environment.
• Must be a people person, ability to befriend, relate, and build relationships with all types of customers.
• Ability to remain focused in a high volume/fast paced environment.
• Ability to adapt from customer to customer, situation to situation.
• Must be able to type quickly and accurately. Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering in final records of purchase. 45+ WPM required typing test.
• “Get it done” upbeat attitude, team player, professional demeanor.
• Be comfortable cleaning and handling electronics safely.
• Must be able to follow protocol and procedures, with ongoing training.
• Professional, well-manicured appearance.
• Must be able to remain on your feet for hours at a time, possibly 8+ hours. Ability to lift 25lb items.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
