Sales Coordinator Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales coordinator in Oregon?
Sales coordinator roles in Oregon do not require a state-issued license, so the path focuses on education and demonstrated skills. Most Oregon employers expect at least an associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications. Candidates who build familiarity with CRM tools, gain experience in customer service or administrative support, and develop strong written communication skills are consistently competitive. Portland-area community colleges such as Portland Community College offer relevant business and sales certificate programs that employers recognize.
Which companies hire sales coordinators in Oregon?
Oregon sales coordinator roles are posted by PARR, Sunday Afternoons, and Everon and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Oregon's mix of technology firms, outdoor industry brands, and regional healthcare organizations means hiring is spread across several sectors rather than concentrated in one industry.
Which Oregon cities have the most sales coordinator jobs?
Portland, Hillsboro, and Talent account for the largest share of sales coordinator openings in Oregon. Portland dominates because of its dense concentration of technology companies, distribution operations, and corporate headquarters, while Eugene and Bend attract postings from regional healthcare networks, hospitality groups, and growing mid-size companies that have expanded into those markets over the past decade.
Are there remote sales coordinator jobs in Oregon?
Yes, and they are fairly common for this role, since much of a sales coordinator's work involves CRM management, email communication, and document preparation that does not require a physical office. About 67% of sales coordinator openings tied to Oregon are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well the role adapts to distributed teams. Client onboarding coordination and inside sales support are the functions most frequently offered on a fully remote basis.
How can I get hired as a sales coordinator in Oregon with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a customer service, administrative assistant, or marketing coordinator role, since Oregon employers regularly promote internally from those positions into sales coordinator seats. Large employers such as Nike, Daimler Trucks North America, and regional healthcare systems like Providence Health post entry-level sales support and account assistant roles that function as direct stepping stones. Building proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot and earning a business certificate from Portland Community College or Lane Community College strengthens a candidate's application noticeably.
Where can I find and apply to sales coordinator jobs in Oregon?
You can find and apply to sales coordinator jobs in Oregon on Migrate Mate, which lists current Oregon openings updated regularly. Search for roles that match your experience level, industry preference, and location, then apply directly to the ones that fit. No account is needed to see the listings.
