New York employers typically look for candidates who have held internships or entry-level roles in sales support, customer service, or account management. Building familiarity with CRM tools and gaining experience in New York's dominant industries, such as media, finance, or retail, strengthens a candidate's profile considerably.
Which companies hire sales coordinators in New York?
Employers hiring sales coordinators in New York right now include Jelli, AmTrust Financial, and Citi, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Which New York cities have the most sales coordinator jobs?
The cities with the most sales coordinator openings in New York are New York, Bohemia, and Getzville. New York City drives the overwhelming share of demand given its density of corporate headquarters in media, finance, and retail, while Buffalo and White Plains generate steady openings through regional business hubs and suburban headquarters operations that anchor employer activity outside the city.

How can I get hired as a sales coordinator in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or administrative support role at a New York media company, retail corporate office, or financial services firm, which frequently convert to full-time coordinator positions.
