Sales Coordinator Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Sales Coordinator or Inside Sales associate. These positions play a vital role in order placement, quoting materials, coordinating shipments, building relationships, and ensuring our customers are given the highest service in the building industry.
Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Quoting – Using vendor and company quoting systems, emails & phone calls to gather pricing and details to provide customers with quality products within their budget in a timely fashion.
- Ordering – We order building-related materials so our customers can continue their projects with products they can have confidence in.
- Customer Service - Communication is key and king. We provide customers with updates on when and how they can expect to get what they paid for, and solving any bumps/hurdles along the way to ensure the customer has the easiest and best experience possible.
- Relationship Building – Working closely with other departments throughout Huskey. We take the customer's needs and see them through from beginning to end. Planning with our warehouse teams, production teams, and delivery teams to ensure our customers and outside sales team have the best support behind them.
Sales Coordinator Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the building industry or logistics field is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including inventory management systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of lumber species, grades, and dimensions is a plus.
- Knowledge of Millwork and Window-related products is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- A strong focus on process improvement always asking yourself, "What can we do better here? How can this be easier and smoother?"
- A strong focus on providing actual value to the customer.
- A strong focus on reducing waste and fixing what bugs you.
Sales Coordinator Qualifications
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- This role requires you to be physically present at a Huskey facility (working remotely is not supported).
