Sales Operations Specialist Jobs in Hawaii: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations specialist in Hawaii?
Most Hawaii employers expect a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, along with hands-on experience with CRM or data analysis tools. There is no state-issued license required for this role in Hawaii. Candidates who build proficiency in Salesforce, develop reporting skills, and gain experience in one of Hawaii's dominant industries, such as hospitality, defense, or healthcare, tend to move into roles most quickly.
Which companies hire sales operations specialists in Hawaii?
Hawaii sales operations specialist roles are posted by CVS Health, UFC GYM, and Marriott International and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hawaii's mix of defense contractors, telecom providers, and large healthcare organizations makes it a consistent market for sales operations talent across a range of industries.
Which Hawaii cities have the most sales operations specialist jobs?
Honolulu, Hilo, and Lihue have the most sales operations specialist openings in Hawaii. Honolulu drives the vast majority of demand as the state's commercial and government hub, while Maui's growing tourism economy and Hilo's expanding healthcare and education sectors draw smaller but steady hiring activity from regional employers headquartered in those areas.
Are there remote sales operations specialist jobs in Hawaii?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 0% of sales operations specialist openings tied to Hawaii are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how analytical and coordination-focused the role is by nature. The tasks most commonly done remotely include CRM management, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasting, while on-site or hybrid arrangements are more common when the role involves close collaboration with a Hawaii-based field sales team.
How can I get hired as a sales operations specialist in Hawaii with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from an adjacent role such as sales coordinator, marketing analyst, or customer success associate at a mid-size Hawaii employer. Large organizations like HMSA, Alexander & Baldwin, or Hawaiian Telcom periodically post associate-level operations roles that accept candidates with strong Excel or Salesforce fundamentals and a relevant degree. Building a portfolio of data analysis projects or earning a Salesforce Administrator credential can give a Hawaii applicant a clear edge over candidates without direct operations experience.
