Duties
- Actively engage with retail customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Promote and upsell additional offerings to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Manage route driving responsibilities, including commercial truck driving and automobile transportation, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up to encourage repeat business.
- Conduct merchandising activities within retail stores to ensure product displays are attractive and aligned with brand standards.
- Adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or transportation tasks.
- Maintain organizational skills by accurately documenting sales transactions, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; retail store experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, math skills for calculations, and basic financial literacy.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in driving routes, commercial truck driving, or commercial driving preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to vehicle operation and transportation safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; physically capable of handling merchandising tasks.
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing schedules, routes, and documentation efficiently.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and customer relationship building to enhance sales performance.
