Most New York employers expect a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems, plus progressively senior engineering or architecture experience. Earning recognized credentials such as TOGAF or a cloud provider's professional-level certification significantly strengthens candidacy in New York's competitive enterprise technology market.
How much do senior solution architects make in New York?
Senior solution architects in New York earn a median of about $140,390 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $83,260 for the lowest 10% to over $214,590 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.

Which New York cities have the most senior solution architect jobs?
New York, Irving, and Buffalo account for the largest share of senior solution architect openings in New York. New York City dominates due to its density of financial services firms, global technology offices, and large consulting practices, while Buffalo and Albany draw hiring from healthcare systems, state government technology initiatives, and regional enterprise clients that maintain permanent architecture teams.
Are there remote senior solution architect jobs in New York?
