The Role
The Oracle SCM Functional Consultant leads the full implementation lifecycle—from strategy and planning through design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of supply chain transformation and technology, with a deep understanding of Oracle SCM capabilities and best practices. You’ll lead implementations and ensure alignment with compliance and reporting standards. Acting as a lead, you’ll deliver thought leadership on supply chain transformation initiatives, Oracle product roadmaps, and industry trends. You’ll collaborate with technical teams to shape integration, data conversion, and reporting strategies. You’ll create client-facing documentation including functional specifications, process maps, test scripts, and training materials. Client engagements will vary, offering exposure to a range of industries and solution complexities. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to engage strategically, build trusted relationships, and drive meaningful outcomes.
Qualifications
Oracle SCM Expertise
- Strong functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud SCM modules, including Demand Management, Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Supply Chain Collaboration, Maintenance (Asset Management) and Inventory
- Hands-on experience configuring and testing Oracle SCM solutions in complex global environments
- Strong understanding of SCM-related integrations, dependencies, and reporting needs
- Experience conducting fit-gap analysis, mapping legacy processes to Oracle Cloud, and defining end-to-end supply chain process flows
- Demonstrated expertise with change management, training, and user enablement strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading full-cycle supply chain transformation and Oracle SCM Cloud implementations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery
- Strong facilitation skills to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment
- Experience mentoring junior consultants and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing and asset development
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and lead solution streams within larger projects
- Oracle SCM Cloud certification(s) preferred
- Background in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field through education and/or professional experience
