The AIS Power & Cooling team is looking for a results-oriented individual to own sourcing and supply management for Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment. Our Procurement Managers are experts in their industries who deliver the supply that helps drive the explosive growth of AWS.

As a member of the Power and Cooling Procurement Team, you will support end-to-end global sourcing and supply chain for one or more of the categories that reside within the Power and Cooling Equipment space supporting AWS Data Center build projects. This role's primary responsibility is to maintain unconstrained supply on a global scale for the responsible categories and work with our internal customers and business partners to understand demand signals and drive the appropriate supply strategies to deliver continuity of supply. This has to be achieved while enabling procurement with low cost structure and flexibility in adapting to volatile demand.

Key job responsibilities

• Engage with global supply chain counterparts to drive leading supply chain practices and initiatives
• Invent and simplify processes to reduce waste in tactical process management cycle time
• Problem-solve data quality issues through root-cause analysis and ultimately drive prevention mechanism in scale
• Drive innovation and automation through the supply chain and influence industry practices
• Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision making
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
• Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable, relative advantage in your category
• Requires travel up to 10% of the year

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience
• Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process
• Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
