JOB SUMMARY
As Corporate Finance is growing, we are looking to add a Sr. Tax Analyst to our Tax Department!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This includes assisting in the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences;
- Gather supporting documents to prepare the Medpace Federal, State & Local income tax returns;
- Assist in gathering supporting documents for Federal, State & International audits by tax authorities;
- Assist Tax Manager/Director on various tax planning initiatives;
- Research changes in tax legislation and its potential impact to Medpace;
- Assist in compliance with SOX controls for the tax department;
- May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years tax experience;
- Knowledge of ONESOURCE Income Tax is preferred;
- Must be able to collaborate in a team environment;
- Demonstrate ability to present relevant information and facilitate a meeting;
- Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy;
- Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business;
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
