I opened my agency on January 1, 2024, and currently have a team of four full-time and one part-time team member. Before becoming an agent, I worked as a manager for Cintas, but I always had a strong interest in both insurance and running my own business.
Outside of work, I’m constantly on the go with my family. I’ve coached soccer and baseball, and I love spending time outdoors and traveling. I also stay active in the community through local school district initiatives, fire department activities, and other community events.
Some of the perks we offer include casual Fridays, team lunches, team outings, and regular promotions.
Our culture is centered on teamwork, integrity, and a winning mindset. I’m looking for team members who are easy to work with, coachable, and dedicated. The right fit will show initiative, be open-minded, and be willing to step outside their comfort zone. Our team is made up of individuals who strive to do their best, help each other, and thrive in a competitive, high-energy environment.

Team Manager Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a team manager in Delaware?
Most team manager roles in Delaware do not require a state-issued license, but employers typically expect a combination of relevant industry experience and a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related discipline. Candidates targeting financial services firms in Wilmington benefit from familiarity with compliance and regulatory environments, while those pursuing healthcare administration roles may need relevant certifications such as a Certified Medical Manager credential. Building supervisory experience in an associate or lead role within a Delaware employer is the most common path.
Which companies hire team managers in Delaware?
Companies currently hiring team managers in Delaware include State Farm, American Eagle Outfitters, and JPMorganChase, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of corporate headquarters and financial institutions in the Wilmington area means a significant share of these openings are in operations, compliance, and customer service management.
Which Delaware cities have the most team manager jobs?
Newark, Dover, and Milford have the most team manager openings in Delaware. Wilmington dominates due to its dense cluster of banking, financial services, and corporate headquarters, while Newark's proximity to the University of Delaware and manufacturing operations supports demand there, and Dover's role as the state capital drives openings in government-adjacent and healthcare organizations.
Are there remote team manager jobs in Delaware?
Yes, but they are less common than in purely analytical or tech roles, since team management often requires onsite coordination and direct staff oversight. About 100% of team manager openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, which is a meaningful share. The roles most likely to offer remote or hybrid arrangements are in financial operations, customer experience management, and back-office corporate functions.
How can I get hired as a team manager in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is stepping into a team lead or senior associate role at one of Delaware's large financial institutions or healthcare systems, where internal promotion pipelines are well established. JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America both run associate development programs in Wilmington that build supervisory skills. Candidates with adjacent roles such as shift supervisor, project coordinator, or operations analyst can make a lateral move into a junior team manager title. Completing a Project Management Professional or frontline leadership certificate strengthens an application considerably.
