We are seeking an Agency Team Lead Trainer
The Lead Trainer is responsible for overseeing the quality, consistency, and fidelity of the Agency’s approved training programs. The Lead Trainer serves as the Agency’s primary training resource and is responsible for ensuring that all approved training is delivered consistently, accurately, and in accordance with established curriculum, policies, standards, and best practices.
The Lead Trainer is responsible for maintaining their own qualifications and certifications, supporting the ongoing development of Agency trainers, monitoring training fidelity, and coordinating required refresher and continuing education opportunities. This position works closely with Agency leadership and will report to the Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance to identify training needs, address deficiencies, and promote a culture of safe, ethical, trauma-informed, and effective practice.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain overall responsibility for the fidelity, integrity, and continuity of approved Agency training programs.
- Coordinate routine sessions with trainers and conduct regular audits to ensure consistency across trainers, adherence to the approved model, and incorporation of any model changes.
- Ensure training is delivered according to Agency-approved curricula, policies, procedures, and applicable certification or program requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of changes to approved curricula, training standards, best practices, and applicable regulations.
- Ensure that training materials, presentations, handouts, demonstrations, and other instructional resources remain accurate and current.
- Identify and communicate any concerns regarding curriculum changes, outdated materials, or deviations from approved training practices to Agency leadership.
- Responsible for conducting trainings as requested to support the Agency
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience serving as a trainer, instructor, training coordinator, or training supervisor.
- Experience developing or implementing staff training programs.
- Experience conducting competency assessments or quality-assurance reviews.
- Experience working in behavioral health, residential services, child welfare, juvenile services, corrections, education, healthcare, or another setting involving behavioral intervention and crisis response.
- Formal instructor, adult-learning, or train-the-trainer experience.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based de-escalation practices.
