We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join the Test Solutions Group at NVIDIA, developing infrastructure software and manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter and Enterprise products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hardware design, test engineering, product engineering, and software teams to enable NVIDIA’s next-generation GPU and CPU-based server products. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable internal tools, modern web-based platforms, and AI-enhanced workflows that improve engineering productivity, diagnostic development, test automation, and manufacturing operations.
NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a learning machine that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve, that only we can pursue, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work: to amplify human creativity and intelligence. Make the choice to join our growing team today.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop industry-standard IDEs and platforms to automate and intelligentize diagnostic creation, verification, validation, and release for NVIDIA system-level products, including GeForce, Quadro, HGX, and DGX.
- Build universal test frameworks to standardize diagnostic structures, workflows, metadata, and release processes across NVIDIA products.
- Develop and maintain diagnostic management systems to handle, optimize, and automate the release process for NVIDIA board and system products.
- Design and implement AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity, including AI-powered search, code generation, documentation assistance, log analysis, test result summarization, workflow automation, and intelligent troubleshooting.
- Apply modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, agents, function calling, semantic search, and workflow orchestration, to upgrade TSG’s infrastructure platforms and internal engineering tools.
- Work closely with Test Development Engineering, Product Development Engineering, Software Engineering, and Operations teams to solve sophisticated infrastructure, security, automation, and development challenges.
- Explore and evaluate new AI tools, frameworks, and development practices, and apply them pragmatically to improve software delivery, test infrastructure, and manufacturing support workflows.
What we need to see:
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of related software development experience.
- Strong understanding of full-stack application development, including frontend, backend, database, deployment, and system integration.
- Excellent Python programming skills and bash scripting experience.
- Solid experience with database design, including crafting schemas from scratch, writing efficient queries, understanding execution plans, and applying indexes effectively.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, React, CSS, and HTML. Experience with yarn or npm is required. TypeScript, Create React App, Webpack, or modern frontend build systems are strong pluses.
- Background with authentication and security concepts, including NTLM, OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, and secure API design.
- Familiarity with best software development practices, including documentation, testing, code review, CI/CD, containerization, and reliable production deployment.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve software development productivity, such as coding assistants, AI-based debugging, documentation generation, test generation, or workflow automation.
- Practical understanding of AI application development concepts, such as LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, AI agents, tool/function calling, and model evaluation.
- Passion for using AI to modernize engineering workflows, automate repetitive processes, improve internal tools, and unlock new productivity for cross-functional teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience working with manufacturing test, hardware diagnostics, lab automation, product validation, or large-scale engineering operations.
- Background with building AI-powered internal tools, developer productivity platforms, chatbots, agents, or automation systems.
- Experience integrating enterprise data sources, internal APIs, documentation systems, logs, or test databases into AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience with vector search, embeddings, RAG pipelines, LangChain/LlamaIndex-style frameworks, or custom AI orchestration services.

Search Legal Jobs in CaliforniaLegal H-1B Sponsorship Jobs in California: Frequently Asked Questions
Which legal companies sponsor H-1B visas in California?
Large law firms with California offices, including Latham & Watkins, Skadden Arps, Morrison & Foerster, and Orrick, have established H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Corporate legal departments at technology companies such as Google, Apple, Meta, and Salesforce also sponsor H-1B petitions for in-house attorneys and legal operations professionals. Sponsorship is more common at larger organizations with dedicated immigration compliance resources.
Which cities in California have the most legal H-1B sponsorship jobs?
San Francisco and Silicon Valley account for a significant share of legal H-1B sponsorship activity, driven by the concentration of major technology companies with in-house legal teams. Los Angeles follows closely, home to large AmLaw 100 offices and entertainment industry legal departments. San Diego has a smaller but active legal market, particularly in life sciences and biotech corporate counsel roles.
What types of legal roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
Roles that require a Juris Doctor or a foreign law degree in a specific legal field generally qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B rules. Common qualifying positions include associate attorneys, in-house counsel, legal analysts, compliance officers, and intellectual property specialists. Roles where a generic bachelor's degree in any field satisfies the requirement, such as some paralegal or legal operations coordinator positions, may face greater scrutiny.
How do I find legal H-1B sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters legal H-1B sponsorship jobs in California by employer, role type, and location. Rather than sorting through postings that don't confirm sponsorship, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from employers with verified H-1B filing histories, saving time for foreign national attorneys and legal professionals targeting California's legal market.
Are there California-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in the legal industry?
California's Bar admission requirements apply independently of H-1B status, so foreign-trained attorneys sponsored by California employers may still need to pass the California Bar or qualify under its foreign legal consultant rules to practice law. Some in-house roles do not require California Bar admission, making them more accessible. Employers in California are also subject to the state's strong worker protection laws, which can affect how H-1B prevailing wage obligations are structured.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B legal jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
