Which marketing and advertising companies sponsor H-1B visas in Colorado?
H-1B visa sponsorship in Colorado's marketing and advertising sector comes from a mix of employer types. Large corporations with in-house marketing departments, such as Dish Network, Centurylink (now Lumen Technologies), and Arrow Electronics, have filed H-1B petitions for marketing roles. Denver-based digital agencies and media companies also appear in DOL Labor Condition Application records, though sponsorship activity varies by employer size and role specialization.
Which cities in Colorado have the most marketing and advertising H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of marketing and advertising H-1B activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, ad agencies, and tech companies with marketing functions. Boulder follows, particularly for roles tied to software and SaaS companies with marketing and growth teams. Fort Collins and Colorado Springs have smaller but present markets, mostly through regional employers and healthcare or education sector marketing departments.
What types of marketing and advertising roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B eligibility requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In marketing and advertising, roles that commonly meet this standard include market research analyst, digital marketing manager, marketing data analyst, SEO strategist, and paid media specialist. General coordinator or assistant-level roles may face more scrutiny from USCIS because the degree requirement is less clearly established for those titles.
How do I find marketing and advertising H-1B sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for marketing and advertising H-1B sponsorship jobs in Colorado, showing employers with verified DOL Labor Condition Application filing history in the state. This is more reliable than searching general job boards, where sponsorship claims are often unverified. You can narrow results by city, role type, and employer to focus on companies that have demonstrably sponsored H-1B workers in marketing and advertising functions in Colorado.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in marketing and advertising?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to include compensation ranges in job postings, which gives H-1B candidates useful context when evaluating whether a role's offered wage aligns with prevailing wage requirements. Employers filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application must certify they are paying at least the prevailing wage for the occupation and location, which you can verify independently using the OFLC Wage Search tool. Colorado's tech-heavy job market also means many marketing roles are tied to software companies, where specialty occupation status is generally clearer.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B marketing & advertising jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
