Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor E-3 visas in Georgia?
Georgia-based companies with documented E-3 and specialty occupation sponsorship activity in distribution and wholesale include Genuine Parts Company, HD Supply, Coca-Cola's supply chain division, and logistics operators tied to the Port of Savannah. Multinational wholesale and distribution firms with Georgia headquarters or major regional operations are generally more likely to have established immigration sponsorship processes than smaller regional distributors.
Which cities in Georgia have the most distribution and wholesale E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the largest share of distribution and wholesale E-3 sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters and regional distribution hubs. Savannah is a strong secondary market due to its port infrastructure and growing industrial base. Gainesville, Columbus, and the Interstate 85 corridor also have notable wholesale and distribution employer clusters worth targeting in a focused job search.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In distribution and wholesale, positions that commonly meet this standard include supply chain analyst, demand planning manager, logistics operations manager, procurement specialist, and trade compliance analyst. General warehouse, driver, or non-analytical operations roles typically do not qualify without a degree-specific requirement attached to the position.
How do I find distribution and wholesale E-3 sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings specifically by visa type and industry, making it straightforward to surface E-3-eligible distribution and wholesale roles in Georgia without manually screening each employer. Because E-3 sponsorship requires a Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL, employers who have sponsored similar roles before are the most efficient targets. Migrate Mate surfaces employer LCA filing history so you can prioritize companies with a verified sponsorship track record in this sector.
Are there state-specific or industry-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in Georgia's distribution sector?
Georgia has no state-level visa sponsorship requirements, so E-3 rules follow federal standards set by USCIS and the DOL. One industry-specific consideration is that Georgia's distribution sector is heavily logistics-oriented, with many roles tied to the Port of Savannah's international trade activity. This means some employers are experienced with foreign national hiring, but the specialty occupation bar still applies. Employers must certify a prevailing wage through an approved LCA before sponsoring any E-3 applicant.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 distribution & wholesale jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
