ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1997 and currently lead a team of three. Over the years, I’ve built an agency focused on consistency, strong relationships, and serving our community at a high level.
I’m a graduate of Ball State University, where I earned my B.S. in Business Management and competed as a Division I athlete for four years. I’m married with four children and one grandchild, and family plays a big role in everything I do.
I stay very active in the community by coaching youth basketball, football, soccer, and baseball, as well as mentoring local youth. I’m also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi. Giving back and helping others grow is something I’m deeply passionate about.
Our agency offers flexibility, free snacks and coffee, professional and personal development, a strong focus on health and wellness, and regular team-building events. We believe in creating an environment where people feel supported and set up for success.
Our culture is team-oriented, knowledgeable, and accessible. We live by the motto “Be the best you,” and I’m looking for someone who brings that same mindset. The right person will be dependable, customer-focused, and a self-starter who is motivated to grow. If you’re looking for a supportive environment where you can develop your skills, contribute to a strong team, and make an impact in your community, this could be a great fit for you.

Search Insurance Jobs in IndianaInsurance OPT Sponsorship Jobs in Indiana: Frequently Asked Questions
Which insurance companies in Indiana sponsor F-1 OPT visas?
OneAmerica Financial Partners, headquartered in Indianapolis, is among the most prominent Indiana-based insurers with a history of hiring international talent. Other active employers include Anthem (now Elevance Health), Motorists Insurance Group, and Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. Larger national carriers with Indiana offices, such as Allstate and Nationwide, also participate in OPT programs, particularly for actuarial and analytics-focused roles.
Which cities in Indiana have the most insurance F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis holds the clear majority of insurance F-1 OPT opportunities in Indiana, housing corporate headquarters, regional offices, and insurtech operations. Fort Wayne is a secondary market with a meaningful concentration of regional carriers and financial services firms. Carmel and Bloomington have smaller but growing presences, particularly for data-driven roles tied to university talent pipelines at Indiana University and Purdue.
What types of insurance roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship in Indiana?
Roles requiring specialized quantitative or analytical training align most consistently with OPT eligibility. These include actuarial analyst positions, data scientists in risk modeling, underwriting analysts, and compliance or regulatory analysts. Software engineering roles within insurtech divisions also qualify. Positions that require only general business knowledge without a degree-specific connection are less reliably approved for OPT work authorization.
How do I find insurance F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students on F-1 OPT seeking sponsored roles, making it far more targeted than general job boards. You can filter directly by visa type and industry to surface insurance employers in Indiana actively hiring OPT candidates. Migrate Mate also provides employer sponsorship history context, which helps you prioritize applications toward companies with a documented track record of supporting international hires in the insurance sector.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for F-1 OPT insurance jobs I should know about?
Indiana does not impose state-level restrictions on OPT employment beyond federal USCIS requirements, so work authorization is governed entirely by your EAD and authorized period. One practical consideration is that Indiana's insurance market skews toward traditional carriers rather than coastal insurtech startups, meaning employers may have less institutional familiarity with OPT processes. Confirming that HR teams understand OPT authorization before accepting an offer is worth doing early in the process.
