Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversee all program coordination, community education, administration management and liaison with community partners/members for the Center for Promoting Health and Health Equality (CPHHE). In addition, CPHHE Board meeting coordination and agenda, data entry, analysis and reporting, maintaining website and social media activities, creating brochures/newsletters, organizing the Summer Research Institute (SRI), seminars, health disparities workshops and grant writing activities. The position also acts as primary coordinator in research, training, education and intervention programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent required.
- 2+ year's related coordination of programs experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in health disparities arena preferred.
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products required.
- Experience with database management, data imports and CRM software preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Demonstrated customer service focus particularly with the minority community and ability to resolve conflict and handle demanding clients.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to think independently and analyze problems and reach solutions.
