JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for monitoring the merchandise being received into the complex, notifying appropriate staff of deliveries, and ensuring that all safety procedures and policies are being followed.
DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create daily usage reports (wood pallets, IGPS pallets, etc.)
- Receive trucks, box trucks & shipments, sign for deliveries upon receipt.
- Export received orders and small parcel packages to accounting team.
- Coordinate BOL discrepancies with accounting team.
- Complete QA logs for incoming goods and turn in appropriate paperwork daily.
- Obtain margination samples for QA testing.
- Scan out inventory used by production.
- Track & maintain inventory daily and complete inventory reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Purchasing for product and inventory maintenance.
- Track FIFO on all received products.
- Move and assign pallets according to departmental needs throughout facility.
- Deliver supplies needed to various departments throughout facility.
- Effectively follow directions of the supervisor, or manager at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Effectively communicate and positively interact with team members in all departments.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
- Knowledge of warehouse delivery processes.
- Skill in using a computer and a variety of software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Skill in communicating in a courteous and professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes to the needs of production.
- Ability to work in a team environment and close proximity to others.
- Must be able to pass required physical including demonstrating your ability to lift the required weight for each position.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire 8-hour shift.
- MUST wear correct job specific PPE as designated by company policy.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
