Which staffing companies in New Jersey sponsor work visas?
Major staffing companies with New Jersey operations that commonly sponsor visas include Randstad USA, Kelly Services, Robert Half, ManpowerGroup, and Aerotek. Many of these firms have corporate headquarters or major regional offices in cities like Morristown, Princeton, and Newark, creating consistent demand for international talent in recruiting, account management, and specialized consulting roles.
What visa types are most common for staffing jobs in New Jersey?
H-1B visas dominate for specialized roles like technical recruiters, business development managers, and client relationship specialists. L-1 visas are common for international transfers to U.S. headquarters, while TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican nationals in management roles. Some entry-level recruiting positions may qualify for cap-exempt H-1B through university partnerships.
How to find staffing visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international candidates with New Jersey staffing companies that sponsor work visas. Focus your search on major business districts like Newark's financial corridor, Princeton's corporate hub, and Jersey City's growing tech sector. Many positions are concentrated near transportation links to Manhattan, making New Jersey attractive for staffing professionals.
Which New Jersey cities have the most staffing sponsorship opportunities?
Newark leads with the highest concentration due to its status as New Jersey's business center, followed by Jersey City with its proximity to Manhattan's financial sector. Princeton offers opportunities with corporate headquarters, while Morristown and Parsippany host regional offices of major staffing firms. These areas benefit from strong public transportation connections to New York City.
Are there specific advantages to working in New Jersey's staffing industry?
New Jersey's location between New York and Philadelphia creates unique market advantages, with many staffing firms serving both metropolitan areas. The state has no city-specific minimum wage laws affecting H-1B prevailing wages, unlike neighboring New York. Additionally, New Jersey's diverse economy across pharmaceuticals, finance, and technology creates varied recruiting specializations for visa-sponsored professionals.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored staffing jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
