Which marketing and advertising companies sponsor Green Cards in North Carolina?
Charlotte-based Red Ventures and its portfolio of digital brands are among the more active sponsors in the state, alongside in-house marketing departments at large employers like Bank of America, Lowe's, and Duke Energy. Raleigh's Research Triangle also hosts agency and tech company marketing teams that have filed PERM labor certifications for international employees in content, analytics, and brand management roles.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Charlotte leads the state for marketing sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of financial services, media, and e-commerce companies with large in-house teams. Raleigh and Durham follow closely, particularly for roles tied to tech and life sciences marketing. Greensboro has a smaller but active advertising agency community. Most PERM-sponsored roles are found within the Charlotte and Research Triangle metro areas.
What types of marketing and advertising roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in North Carolina?
Roles that typically qualify require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field, such as marketing manager, digital marketing strategist, SEO or SEM specialist, marketing data analyst, and brand director positions. Employers filing PERM labor certifications must demonstrate the role meets the specialty occupation threshold and that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Performance marketing, content strategy, and marketing technology roles appear frequently in North Carolina PERM filings.
How do I find marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate aggregates verified Green Card sponsorship data from DOL PERM filings, so you can filter specifically for marketing and advertising employers in North Carolina that have a documented history of sponsoring international workers. Searching by job category and state helps you identify Charlotte and Raleigh employers who have filed PERM certifications for marketing roles, reducing time spent applying to companies unlikely to sponsor.
Are there any state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in North Carolina's marketing and advertising industry?
North Carolina does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal PERM and I-140 processes, but the state's right-to-work status and relatively lower cost of doing business attracts employers who may be less experienced with immigration sponsorship than those in coastal tech hubs. Candidates should prioritize employers with prior PERM filing history in the state, as the labor certification process requires employer commitment over a timeline that can span one to three years.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card marketing & advertising jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
