Which marketing and advertising companies sponsor Green Card visas in Florida?
Florida-based employers that have sponsored Green Card cases for marketing professionals include large hospitality and consumer brands headquartered in the state, major media companies with Miami and Orlando offices, and full-service advertising agencies. Corporations with national marketing operations, such as those in tourism, retail, and healthcare marketing, are among the more consistent PERM labor certification filers in Florida for marketing and communications roles.
Which cities in Florida have the most marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship activity, driven by its status as a hub for Latin American brand operations, media companies, and multinational agency offices. Orlando follows, with significant sponsorship from hospitality, theme park, and entertainment marketing teams. Tampa's growing tech and healthcare sectors also generate demand for sponsored marketing roles, particularly in digital marketing and brand strategy.
What types of marketing and advertising roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Florida?
Roles that most commonly qualify require a specific bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and include positions such as brand manager, digital marketing manager, marketing analyst, media planner, and advertising account manager. Specialty occupation criteria under the PERM process favor roles where a degree in a particular discipline is standard for entry, making senior and specialized marketing positions stronger candidates for sponsorship than generalist coordinator roles.
How do I find marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for this search, letting you filter for marketing and advertising roles in Florida where employers have a verified history of sponsoring permanent residency. Because PERM labor certification filings are public DOL records, Migrate Mate surfaces which Florida employers have actually initiated Green Card cases for marketing professionals, saving you from applying to companies that list sponsorship as possible but have no filing history.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in marketing and advertising?
Florida's bilingual economy means employers in Miami-Dade and surrounding counties often seek marketing professionals with Spanish-language fluency, which can narrow the qualified U.S. worker pool and support a stronger PERM labor market test. Florida has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation offers in prevailing wage compliance documentation. Employers must still meet all federal DOL prevailing wage requirements based on the specific metropolitan area where the role is located.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card marketing & advertising jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
