Which staffing companies sponsor visas in North Carolina?
Major staffing companies with North Carolina operations that sponsor visas include Kelly Services in Charlotte, Adecco offices in Raleigh and Greensboro, Robert Half in the Research Triangle, and ManpowerGroup locations across the state. Regional firms like Lucas Group and Beacon Hill Staffing also sponsor visas for senior recruiting and business development roles, particularly in Charlotte's financial services market.
How to find staffing visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for staffing and recruiting roles in North Carolina cities like Charlotte, Raleigh, and Durham. Focus on positions at large staffing agencies and specialized recruiting firms that have established visa sponsorship programs. Target roles like senior recruiter, business development manager, or technical talent acquisition specialist that require specialized skills.
Which visa types are most common for staffing roles in North Carolina?
H-1B visas are most common for staffing roles requiring specialized skills like technical recruiting, data analytics, or business development. TN visas work well for Canadian and Mexican nationals in management or analyst positions at staffing firms. O-1 visas occasionally apply for executives with extraordinary achievements in talent acquisition or human resources leadership roles.
Which North Carolina cities have the most staffing sponsorship opportunities?
Charlotte leads with the highest concentration due to its status as a major financial hub, followed by Raleigh-Durham in the Research Triangle where tech and biotech companies drive recruiting demand. Greensboro and Winston-Salem offer additional opportunities, particularly with companies serving the manufacturing and healthcare sectors that need specialized talent acquisition professionals.
What are the prevailing wage requirements for staffing jobs in North Carolina?
Prevailing wages for staffing roles in North Carolina vary by city and position level. Senior recruiting positions in Charlotte typically require higher wages due to the competitive financial services market, while Research Triangle positions reflect the tech industry's compensation standards. Entry-level recruiting coordinator roles may not meet H-1B wage requirements, making mid-level and senior positions more viable for visa sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored staffing jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
