Which insurance companies sponsor F-1 OPT visas in Tennessee?
Several large and mid-sized insurers operating in Tennessee have hired F-1 OPT workers in recent years. Asurion, headquartered in Nashville, is one of the more prominent names. Regional carriers, third-party administrators, and insurance subsidiaries of healthcare systems like HCA Healthcare also hire international graduates. Sponsorship availability varies by role, team, and hiring cycle, so confirming OPT acceptance directly with each employer is important.

Nashville leads by a significant margin, driven by its concentration of healthcare insurers, specialty carriers, and corporate headquarters. Smaller markets like Knoxville have a more limited but present insurance hiring base, primarily through regional agencies and brokerage firms.
