ESIS Senior Vice President, Specialty Claims
The ESIS Senior Vice President (SVP), Specialty Claims is responsible for leading the strategies, sales and marketing for the Specialty Claims businesses of ESIS, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chubb Insurance.
This position reports to the Division President for ESIS. This position is preferred to be an in-office position. The preferred location is Philadelphia, but other ESIS offices will be considered.
Core Duties
- Provide leadership and drive the specific offering and marketing initiatives for the strategic benefit of Specialty Claims.
- Lead the strategic sales direction and initiatives of Specialty Claims (General Liability, Property, Professional and Management Liability, Medical Malpractice, Product Liability and Environmental Liability) through effective thought leadership while driving innovative initiatives all designed to support clients’ needs.
- Build the ESIS Specialty Sales team.
- Work closely with the claims management teams that supports these initiatives to provide world-class claims services.
- Create a national market presence developing strategic relationships across the broker/consultant community and generate new third party claim administration (TPA) business.
- Drive and develop new sales and marketing strategies for execution.
- Work with all groups within ESIS and Chubb to foster a sales-oriented culture.
- Collaborate and promote the strategies of account management services (Partnership Services) and sales aimed to drive profitable growth and client retention.
- Identify sales and revenue opportunities for ESIS Specialty Claims including new products and service offerings, program design, pricing structures, and product alignment.
- Principally focus on opportunities from Program Business, MGAs/MGUs, Captives, Risk Retention groups, Whole-sale and Retail distribution.
- Provide senior management oversight over larger or complicated prospect engagements and other customer initiatives as directed by the ESIS Division President.
- Maintain ultimate responsibility for managing and executing sales strategies to assure corporate plans are achieved.
- Provide all necessary tracking and analysis of metrics submitted to the Division President monthly and upon request from a variety of internal sources within Chubb and ESIS.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key Specialty Claims stakeholders focused (carriers, brokers, captives, etc.) to promote the value of ESIS.
- Provide leadership at industry associations and forums.
- Proactively interact with clients focusing on service strategies, deliverables, and outcomes.
- In depth knowledge of TPA business model.
- 15 + years of sales experience generating TPA sales opportunities including but not limited to whole-sale and retail placements, captives, risk retention groups, program business, MGAs and MGUs.
- Advanced customer orientation.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, finance, other related fields, or comparable experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Proven record managing national or near-national sales organizations.
- Demonstrated pattern of achieving results and objectives in previous sales roles.
- Business savvy, profit and efficiency orientation.
- Strong analytical skills and effectiveness in tracking, working with and analyzing data.
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective relationship building, negotiating and influencing skills.
- High energy level and stamina to work and deliver under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in and use of Sales Force or similar CRM tool.
- Ability to travel minimally 50%.
