Account Manager Jobs in Wyoming: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account manager in Wyoming?
Account management in Wyoming requires no state-issued license, so the path centers on education and experience. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, followed by experience in sales, customer service, or a relevant industry such as energy or agriculture. Building familiarity with Wyoming's dominant sectors, particularly oil, gas, and ranching supply chains, strengthens a candidate's profile with the employers most active in the state.
How much do account managers make in Wyoming?
Account managers in Wyoming earn a median of about $58,970 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,070 for the lowest 10% to over $136,150 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire account managers in Wyoming?
Wyoming account manager roles are posted by State Farm, HUB International, and Navsav and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Wyoming's energy, healthcare, and agricultural sectors tend to generate the most consistent account manager openings, with commercial and industrial accounts making up the largest share of available positions.
Which Wyoming cities have the most account manager jobs?
Casper, Jackson, and Cheyenne have the most account manager openings in Wyoming. Cheyenne leads as the state capital and commercial hub with a concentration of government contractors and regional headquarters, while Casper drives demand through its energy and healthcare industries, and Gillette's coal and mining economy generates steady B2B account management needs tied to industrial supply and services.
Are there remote account manager jobs in Wyoming?
Yes, and they're more common than in many fields, since account management is largely desk and communication-based work. About 60% of account manager openings tied to Wyoming are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the flexibility many sales-oriented roles allow. Client relationship management, pipeline reporting, and internal coordination are the functions most often performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a account manager in Wyoming with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting in a sales development, customer service, or inside sales role with a Wyoming-based employer in energy, healthcare, or agriculture, then transitioning into account management after demonstrating client retention results. Companies like Black Hills Energy and regional healthcare distributors regularly bring on entry-level sales coordinators or territory assistants who move into account manager roles. A relevant bachelor's degree or completion of a CRM certification such as Salesforce Associate strengthens an application for candidates without direct account management history.
Where can I find and apply to account manager jobs in Wyoming?
You can find and apply to account manager jobs in Wyoming on Migrate Mate, which lists current Wyoming openings from employers across the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your background and location, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
