The annual base salary for this position ranges from $104,600.00 in our lowest geographic market to $213,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Experience Brand Planning and Operations Lead to manage on the ground productions for NYC Brand Marketing activations. The best candidate is highly organized, results driven, and has expertise within the production industry. A strong communicator, liaising cross-functionally within brand marketing to lead and drive an organized, efficient and successful production process. They are problem-solvers, forward-thinkers and creative partners, always finding ways to improve our processes to effectively execute the NYC and NA Brand Marketing Strategy.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You are responsible for managing end-to-end production for consumer experiences and enabling the NYC Brand team to deliver exceptional on the ground activations from strategic planning to flawless executions, ensuring the integrity of the Nike brand standards are consistently upheld.
As the Experience Lead, Brand Planning and Operations, Brand Marketing, NYC, you will:
- Partner with NYC Brand Planning and Operations Director to align on seasonal resourcing, taking into consideration seasonal overlap and pulse of the city.
- Lead execution of small to medium scale NYC activations in partnership with NYC Brand Management, and other cross-functional Nike brand functions.
- Manage creative partner/s and agency outreach, negotiations, budgeting, and contracting, in partnership with Nike Legal and Procurement.
- Drive weekly alignment meetings and communication across key internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress against set milestones and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams are hitting key dates and gates.
- Partner with Brand Management to usher the creative vision through final delivery. Inclusive of internal creative checkpoints and leadership reviews.
- On location, lead installation, establish the production ROS, maintaining production schedules, manage on the ground production and partners, both for fabrication and programming.
- Build industry relationships and database of creative and production partners who are relevant and inspiring.
- Contribute to the broader NYC Brand Planning and Operations team project status, proactively flagging risks or issues to leadership with adequate time for necessary adjustments.
- Provide tools to enable the NYC Brand Marketing team to execute activations when NA Creative or NYC Experience resourcing is not available.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You will partner closely with your Creative and Brand counterparts so that work is organized seamlessly for successful productions. You will also work closely with key business functions such as Finance, Legal, BA, Procurement, the Product Specialist COE. In addition, you’ll be a trusted partner to Sports Marketing and Energy Marketing when these teams are engaged for specific productions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Deep Knowledge of Live Consumer Experience Production, inclusive of scenic fabrication and live programming.
- Knowledge of Content Production, especially as it related to content capture at an Experience.
- A committed personal passion for online-to-offline experiences, and the ambition to stay at the forefront of creative partner resourcing.
- Experience in contract negotiation.
- Experience in budget planning, management and reconciliation.
- Ability to organize and lead various teams to a successful outcome.
- Ability to establish good relationships within the creative and production industry.
- Ability to deal with and lead through ambiguity.
- An understanding of the city landscape and pulse of sport is a plus.
- A strong ability to solve problems and solutions-oriented attitude.
- 7+ years in fields directly related to production and creative project management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Brand Marketing or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education and experience, and training.
