The position coordinates with Distribution Services Supervisors and Sr Coordinator in training the Building Services Assistants (“BSA”) in the Mailroom function. Under the Distribution Services Supervisor, works in conjunction with Receiving Lead Tech. Using the automated package-tracking system, the Lead Tech operates, reconciles, and reports on the volumes and statuses of Mailroom throughput. The Lead Tech oversees BSA’s proper use of the automated tracking system, cognizant of maintaining data integrity and ensuring proper collection of, and reporting on, barcode and other mail/package data. Assures that members of the Perelman School of Medicine community receive the highest quality services from the Distribution Services group within Space Planning & Operations.
