Job Title: Assistant Community Manager
Location: Westville, IN Area
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Churchlight Communities is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support our communities in the Westville, IN area. This role provides day-to-day administrative and operational support, working closely with Property Managers and other team members to help ensure community operations run smoothly.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, including resident communications, community notices, sales documentation, maintenance coordination, and property records. Property management experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with rent collections, including delivering late notices, door knocking, phone calls/texts and emails
- Tenant phone calls, texts and emails
- Assisting tenants in the office
- Entering work orders for maintenance
- Assist with community and tenant violation control
- Calling contractors and assisting with project coordination
- Assist with marketing, tours, home sales and contract execution
- Assisting with tenant violations as required and monitor correction.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and applicable regulations
- Solicit vendor project quotes and ensure work is completed properly and on time
- Report updates and issues to Supervisor
- All other tasks as directed by Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good recordkeeping and filing skills
- Customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
- Property management experience is a plus
