About the Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) Team:
The DCI team consists of technical subject matter experts who specialize in end-to-end large scale physical infrastructure that powers and enables modern data centers. This includes power distribution systems such as transformers, substations, generators, switchgear, switch panels, busways, ATS units, EDPM, BMS systems, and control panels, as well as cooling solutions ranging from traditional evaporative and indirect cooling systems to emerging liquid cooling technologies including chillers, heat exchangers, CDUs, pumps, and secondary fluid networks. The team also addresses the mechanical structures that house these systems - hot aisle containment, steel enclosures, blanking panels, cable trays, and fiber and networking infrastructure.
The DCI team operates as a cross-industry center of excellence, partnering primarily with various cloud providers across the industry. Team members function as deeply technical subject matter experts who engage directly with customers and supply chain partners to assess requirements, identify challenges, and design infrastructure solutions end-to-end. The ideal contributor brings engineering-level expertise in either power or cooling disciplines, a working knowledge of the full infrastructure dependency chain, and the ability to translate that expertise into clear recommendations and collaborative problem-solving with both technical and business stakeholders.
The pay range for this role is $132,400 - $238,400. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: October 31, 2026.

Frame your credentials around manufacturing program delivery
Jabil's Program Manager roles sit inside electronics manufacturing environments. Before applying, reframe your resume around cross-functional program execution, NPI timelines, and supplier coordination rather than generic project management language.
Target sites with active engineering headcount
Jabil operates major campuses in locations like San Jose, Tempe, and St. Petersburg. Roles tied to high-volume production sites tend to move faster through hiring and have clearer internal pathways for initiating a visa filing.
Clarify your OPT or TN status early in screening
If you're on F-1 OPT or eligible for TN status, telling the recruiter upfront removes ambiguity. Jabil has filed for both, so presenting yourself as a low-friction candidate can keep you in consideration before H-1B sponsorship comes up.
Understand how PERM timelines interact with your offer
If your role leads to a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, the DOL PERM process typically takes 12 to 18 months before USCIS filing even begins. Negotiate your start date and visa terms with that runway in mind.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Program Manager roles at Jabil
Searching broadly for sponsoring employers wastes time. Migrate Mate lets you filter directly for Program Manager openings at Jabil, showing you which roles are active and which visa categories the company has sponsored for this function.
Align your PMP or equivalent certification to Jabil's LCA filings
DOL Labor Condition Applications require Jabil to certify the role meets specialty occupation standards. A PMP certification or a degree in engineering, supply chain, or operations strengthens that case and reduces the risk of a USCIS request for evidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Jabil sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Jabil sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company has a consistent track record of filing for international candidates in this function, particularly in sites tied to electronics manufacturing and supply chain operations. Your offer letter should specify that sponsorship is included, and you'll want to confirm the timeline before the H-1B lottery registration window in March.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Jabil?
Apply directly through Jabil's careers portal or find open roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect manufacturing program delivery experience, including NPI cycles, cross-functional team leadership, and supplier management. Recruiters at Jabil typically screen for industry-relevant scope, so generic project management framing tends to underperform.
Which visa types does Jabil commonly use for Program Manager roles?
Jabil sponsors H-1B visas as the primary long-term work authorization path for Program Managers. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students transitioning from academic programs, TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories for longer-tenured employees.
What qualifications does Jabil expect for a sponsored Program Manager role?
Jabil typically expects a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related technical field for Program Manager roles. Practical experience managing programs within electronics or contract manufacturing environments is a strong differentiator. Certifications like PMP are valued and also help satisfy the specialty occupation requirement that USCIS evaluates during H-1B adjudication.
How do I plan my timeline if Jabil is sponsoring my H-1B?
H-1B employment can't start until October 1 of the fiscal year following the lottery. USCIS registration opens each March, so if you receive an offer before then, your start date will likely be October 1 at the earliest under cap-subject filing. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, you may be able to bridge the gap with an OPT extension, provided your degree qualifies for the 24-month STEM extension.
