Frame your credentials around hardware program lifecycle
TE Connectivity's Program Manager roles center on NPI (new product introduction) and supply chain execution in electronics manufacturing. Highlight experience managing cross-functional teams through hardware development stages, not just project coordination, so your resume maps to their specific definition of the role.
Target TE Connectivity's industrial and automotive segments
Program Manager openings cluster heavily in TE's Transportation and Industrial Solutions divisions. Filtering your search to these business units surfaces roles where sponsorship decisions are made by hiring managers already familiar with international candidate pipelines.
Get your TN documentation right before interviews
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, the TN visa is a viable path for Program Manager roles. Have your employment letter specify the exact TN professional category (engineer or management consultant) that aligns with the role's duties before you reach the offer stage.
Clarify the H-1B timeline with your TE Connectivity recruiter early
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with work authorization starting October 1. If you're interviewing outside an OPT or CPT window, confirm with the recruiter upfront whether the role's start date can accommodate the USCIS fiscal-year filing cycle.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Program Manager roles
TE Connectivity's Program Manager openings are spread across multiple sites and divisions, making them easy to miss. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified sponsorship-eligible positions at TE Connectivity filtered specifically to Program Manager roles and your visa type.
Prepare for PERM if long-term sponsorship is your goal
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 requires TE Connectivity to complete a DOL PERM labor certification. Ask during the offer negotiation whether the company initiates PERM for this role, since practice varies by business unit and seniority level.

Find Program Manager at TE Connectivity JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TE Connectivity sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, TE Connectivity sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company has an established process for supporting international hires in engineering and operations functions. If you're currently on OPT, your employer will typically file the H-1B petition during the April filing window, with employment authorization beginning October 1. Confirm the start date flexibility with your recruiter before accepting an offer.
Which visa types does TE Connectivity commonly use for Program Manager roles?
TE Connectivity supports several visa categories for Program Managers, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT, TN (for Canadian and Mexican citizens), J-1, and Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, education level, and where you are in the immigration process. TN is often the fastest option for eligible candidates, while H-1B and PERM-backed Green Cards suit longer-term employment planning.
What qualifications does TE Connectivity expect for Program Manager roles?
TE Connectivity's Program Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. Strong candidates bring hands-on experience managing hardware product programs in electronics or manufacturing environments, familiarity with NPI processes, and cross-functional team leadership. Roles in automotive or industrial segments often expect exposure to supplier quality, cost management, and global program execution rather than general project management backgrounds.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at TE Connectivity?
You can apply directly through TE Connectivity's careers site or browse visa-sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying. When you apply, tailor your resume to the specific business unit and product segment listed in the posting. Program Manager roles at TE vary meaningfully between divisions, so a generic application is less competitive than one that addresses the segment's specific program challenges.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Program Manager offer at TE Connectivity?
Timeline depends on your visa type. TN status can be granted at the port of entry on your start date with no advance filing required. H-1B sponsorship requires an April petition filing and a six-month wait for October 1 authorization, unless premium processing is used for faster USCIS adjudication. Green Card sponsorship via PERM is a multi-year process, with DOL labor certification alone taking over a year in many cases. Plan your negotiations around these timelines.
