Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Manufacturing Engineer Jobs at TE Connectivity Jobs
Align your credentials to connector manufacturing
TE Connectivity hires Manufacturing Engineers for connector and sensor production lines, so frame your resume around tolerances, SMT processes, or injection molding. A degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering maps directly to what their hiring teams screen for.
Target roles specifying new product introduction
TE frequently posts Manufacturing Engineer openings tied to NPI cycles for electronics hardware. These roles have longer hiring runways, which gives the company more lead time to initiate H-1B or PERM filings before your authorization window closes.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring roles
Not every Manufacturing Engineer posting at TE Connectivity is tied to an active sponsorship budget. Use Migrate Mate to surface roles where TE has a confirmed sponsorship track record for this function, so you focus your applications where authorization is genuinely on the table.
Prepare your OPT timeline before applying
If you are on F-1 OPT, calculate exactly how many months remain before your EAD expires. TE's manufacturing roles often require onboarding lead times of six to eight weeks, and USCIS H-1B cap filings open in March for October 1 start dates, so your timeline affects which roles are viable.
Understand how PERM affects your green card path
TE sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. For Manufacturing Engineers from India or China, priority date backlogs can run years, so ask the immigration team about starting the PERM process early in your employment.

Find Manufacturing Engineer at TE Connectivity JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TE Connectivity sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing Engineers?
Yes, TE Connectivity sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing Engineer roles. The company works with in-house and external immigration counsel to file H-1B petitions for qualifying engineers. If you are on F-1 OPT, TE can bridge your status through the cap-subject H-1B process, with petitions filed in March for an October 1 start. Confirming your visa needs early in the interview process gives the team enough runway to plan the filing.
How do I apply for Manufacturing Engineer jobs at TE Connectivity?
You can apply through TE Connectivity's careers portal or browse verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles where TE has a track record of sponsoring this function. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific product line or manufacturing process in the job description, whether that is connector assembly, sensor fabrication, or process automation, since TE's engineering teams are organized around those product verticals.
Which visa types does TE Connectivity commonly use for Manufacturing Engineers?
TE Connectivity sponsors H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Manufacturing Engineer roles, and also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering categories. The right visa depends on your citizenship, degree field, and how long you have remaining on any current authorization.
What qualifications does TE Connectivity expect for Manufacturing Engineer roles?
Most Manufacturing Engineer postings at TE Connectivity require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. Hands-on experience with electronics production processes, such as SMT assembly, injection molding, wire harness manufacturing, or precision machining, is commonly expected. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality systems like IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 strengthens your profile for their automotive, industrial, and aerospace product lines.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Manufacturing Engineer at TE Connectivity?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B cap petitions are filed once per year in March, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest, so plan around that annual window. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border in a single day. PERM-based Green Card filings with the DOL typically take one to two years before USCIS adjudication even begins, so starting that process early in your employment matters significantly.
