We are on the hunt for a dynamic and insightful Senior Analyst / Manager for our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in the biotech industry. This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to leverage your financial acumen and strategic thinking skills to drive financial planning and decision-making processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in budgeting, R&D, accruals, reporting, and capital investments. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst / Manager, FP&A, you will play a critical role in the financial management of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Partnering with the R&D team to evaluate and prioritize investments, track expenses, and ensure effective use of resources.
- Managing the accruals process to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Producing regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyzing capital investment proposals and providing recommendations based on financial and strategic considerations.
- Driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial planning and analysis.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for the Senior Analyst / Manager, FP&A role should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the biotech industry.
- Proven experience in budgeting, R&D, accruals, reporting, and capital investments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
