ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Product Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the complete product development lifecycle—from concept and design through production. You'll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors to develop innovative products, improve existing designs, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead product development projects from concept through production.
- Design and develop tooling, dies, and manufacturing components using SolidWorks.
- Create, update, and maintain engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Review designs for manufacturability, accuracy, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Develop cost estimates for new tooling and product designs.
- Partner with Purchasing to maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs).
- Support prototype development, testing, and production implementation.
- Reverse engineer existing parts and equipment to improve performance or replace obsolete components.
- Maintain engineering revision control and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and machinists to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and production efficiency.
