Align your credentials to CRO nursing standards
Medpace operates as a contract research organization, so clinical trial experience carries more weight than general bedside nursing. Before applying, frame your resume around protocol adherence, adverse event reporting, and Good Clinical Practice training rather than standard patient care metrics.
Confirm your state nursing license transfers
Medpace hires Clinical Nurses across multiple U.S. locations, and state licensure requirements vary. Verify your RN license is valid in the state where the role is posted before you apply, since sponsorship timelines cannot begin until you meet local licensure requirements.
Target roles that match your current visa status
F-1 OPT and CPT authorization periods are short, and CRO hiring timelines can run several months. Apply for Clinical Nurse openings at Medpace early in your OPT window so there is enough runway for an H-1B petition or cap-gap extension to take effect without a work authorization gap.
Understand how PERM affects Green Card timelines
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship for Clinical Nurses requires PERM labor certification, a DOL process that typically takes 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition can even be filed. Ask during the offer stage whether Medpace initiates PERM concurrently with or after your H-1B approval.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Clinical Nurse roles
Medpace posts Clinical Nurse openings across different therapeutic divisions and locations, making it easy to miss relevant listings. Use Migrate Mate to filter Medpace roles by visa sponsorship type so you only spend time on positions where your status is supported.
Address specialty occupation requirements proactively
USCIS requires H-1B petitions to demonstrate the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. For Clinical Nurse roles at a CRO like Medpace, prepare to document how your nursing degree and clinical research duties meet that standard.

Find Clinical Nurse at Medpace JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Medpace sponsor H-1B visas for Clinical Nurses?
Yes, Medpace sponsors H-1B visas for Clinical Nurse roles. Because the H-1B requires demonstrating a specialty occupation, Medpace's legal team typically supports petitions by documenting how the clinical research nursing function requires a specific degree in nursing or a related field. Sponsorship is tied to individual role eligibility, so confirm the specific posting supports sponsorship before applying.
Which visa types does Medpace commonly use for Clinical Nurse roles?
Medpace supports H-1B, TN, J-1, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Clinical Nurse positions. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying nursing roles. J-1 is common for nurses in exchange visitor programs. Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification is available but involves a longer timeline than nonimmigrant options.
What qualifications does Medpace expect for Clinical Nurse roles?
Medpace typically expects candidates to hold an active RN license, a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related clinical field, and experience in clinical research or a regulated healthcare environment. Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice guidelines, protocol compliance, and adverse event documentation is particularly relevant given Medpace's contract research organization model.
How do I apply for Clinical Nurse jobs at Medpace?
You can browse and apply for Clinical Nurse openings at Medpace through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Applications typically require a current resume, active nursing license documentation, and demonstrated clinical research experience. Medpace recruits for these roles across multiple U.S. locations, so check which state's licensure applies to each posting.
How do I plan my timeline when targeting a Clinical Nurse role at Medpace with H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer and Labor Condition Application filing with DOL must be in place before the registration window opens in March. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date relative to the H-1B timeline and ask Medpace early whether they will file for cap-gap or premium processing to bridge any gap.
