Frame credentials around regulated healthcare leadership
Quest operates under CLIA, CAP, and other clinical compliance frameworks. Tailor your resume to show experience governing regulated environments, not just general management, so your background maps directly to their executive function requirements.
Target roles tied to core diagnostic divisions
Quest's sponsorship activity concentrates in operational and strategy functions supporting its clinical laboratory network. Focus on openings in laboratory operations, revenue cycle, or enterprise transformation rather than peripheral corporate functions where sponsorship is less common.
Clarify your visa category before final interview rounds
Executive Management roles at Quest often fall under specialty occupation standards for H-1B purposes. Confirm with their talent acquisition team whether your target role has a defined degree requirement, since ambiguity at this level can stall the USCIS petition process.
Understand PERM timelines before accepting an offer
If you're targeting an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card through Quest, DOL's PERM audit backlog can extend the process well beyond a year. Factor this into your offer negotiation so your status remains valid throughout the sponsorship window.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Executive Management openings
Quest posts leadership roles across multiple channels and they fill quickly. Browse Migrate Mate to filter Executive Management positions at Quest Diagnostics by visa type, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing.
Prepare internal transfer documentation if already on a visa
If you're moving from another employer to Quest while on H-1B, H-1B portability under the AC21 rule applies once your I-140 has been approved for 180 days. Gather your approval notice and prior filing records before your start date to avoid gaps.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Quest Diagnostics sponsor H-1B visas for Executive Managements?
Yes, Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B visas for Executive Management roles where the position meets USCIS specialty occupation requirements, meaning the role typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Leadership positions tied to clinical operations, finance, or enterprise strategy are the most common fit. Confirm the degree requirement for your specific role with their recruiting team before the offer stage.
How do I apply for Executive Management jobs at Quest Diagnostics?
Apply directly through Quest Diagnostics's careers portal, where roles are listed by function and location. To find positions that explicitly support visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to filter Executive Management openings at Quest by visa type. Once you apply, expect a multi-round process that typically includes a recruiter screen, panel interviews with senior leaders, and a case or strategic presentation for director-level and above roles.
Which visa types does Quest Diagnostics commonly use for Executive Management roles?
Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Executive Management positions, along with employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for longer-term sponsorship. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or professional roles. The right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and where you are in your career and immigration timeline.
What qualifications does Quest Diagnostics expect for Executive Management candidates seeking sponsorship?
Quest typically looks for candidates with advanced degrees in business, healthcare administration, or a clinically adjacent field, combined with demonstrated P&L ownership, cross-functional leadership, or experience navigating regulated healthcare environments. For sponsorship eligibility, your degree must align with the specific role's specialty occupation classification under USCIS standards. Prior experience in clinical laboratory, diagnostics, or broader healthcare services strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Executive Management role at Quest Diagnostics?
For H-1B, standard USCIS processing runs three to six months after filing, though premium processing can reduce adjudication to 15 business days. If Quest is sponsoring a Green Card through PERM, expect DOL processing alone to take 12 to 18 months before the I-140 petition stage. Starting conversations with Quest's HR team about your visa situation early in the offer process helps avoid gaps between your current status and the new role's start date.
