Customer Success Specialist Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer success specialist in Colorado?
Customer success specialist roles in Colorado do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers look for a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field alongside direct experience in account management, support, or sales. Colorado's dense SaaS and tech sector means candidates with hands-on experience using CRM tools and managing client relationships are consistently prioritized. Certifications from organizations like the Customer Success Association can strengthen an application.
How much do customer success specialists make in Colorado?
Customer success specialists in Colorado earn a median of about $47,540 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,510 for the lowest 10% to over $66,040 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire customer success specialists in Colorado?
Colorado customer success specialist roles are posted by CRUSOE, Arrow Electronics, and Envoy and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Colorado's concentration of SaaS and cloud software companies means openings tend to come from growth-stage and enterprise technology firms headquartered in or with major offices in the Denver metro.
Which Colorado cities have the most customer success specialist jobs?
Denver, Centennial, and Golden lead Colorado in customer success specialist openings. Denver dominates because it is home to the largest concentration of technology and software companies in the state, while Boulder's startup and SaaS ecosystem drives strong demand, and Colorado Springs draws openings from defense technology and mid-market software firms that maintain operations there.
Are there remote customer success specialist jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields. Customer success is a desk-based, communication-driven role that translates well to remote work, making it one of the more remote-friendly specialties in the broader tech sector. About 78% of customer success specialist openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with the fully remote share concentrated in renewal and onboarding roles at SaaS companies.
How can I get hired as a customer success specialist in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a customer support, inside sales, or technical helpdesk role at a Colorado SaaS or software company. Many Denver-area employers including growth-stage firms in the River North tech corridor hire associate customer success managers specifically for candidates without formal CS experience. Building familiarity with Salesforce and completing a recognized customer success certification can close the gap. Targeting companies that list an associate or junior tier is the fastest route in.
