There is no state-issued license required to work in this role in Indiana. The typical path moves from analyst or senior analyst positions into team lead roles before advancing to manager, with employers in Indianapolis's health, finance, and tech sectors valuing demonstrated team leadership and project ownership alongside technical skills.
How much do data analytics managers make in Indiana?
Data analytics managers in Indiana earn a median of about $91,470 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $58,750 for the lowest 10% to over $141,250 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire data analytics managers in Indiana?
Employers hiring data analytics managers in Indiana right now include Jobot, Haynes International, and Toyota Material Handling, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Indiana's concentration of large health systems, pharmaceutical companies, and regional financial institutions means hiring tends to be consistent year-round rather than seasonal.
Which Indiana cities have the most data analytics manager jobs?
Indianapolis, Crane, and Bloomington account for the largest share of data analytics manager openings in Indiana. Indianapolis dominates because it is home to major health systems, the headquarters of several Fortune 500 companies, and a growing tech sector, while Fort Wayne and other markets draw openings from regional manufacturing, logistics, and financial services employers that have built in-house analytics functions.
Are there remote data analytics manager jobs in Indiana?

About 56% of data analytics manager openings tied to Indiana are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly this role has been embraced for flexible work. Strategic leadership tasks like stakeholder presentations and team performance reviews are the parts most likely to require occasional on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a data analytics manager in Indiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a data analyst or business intelligence analyst role first, then building toward management. Large Indiana employers like Indiana University Health, Cummins, and Salesforce Indiana offices regularly hire entry-level analysts and often promote from within into lead and manager roles. Building a portfolio of independent projects using publicly available datasets, earning a credential like a Google Data Analytics Certificate or an AWS data specialty, and targeting team-lead opportunities within your current organization are the most direct ways to close the experience gap without a formal management title.
Where can I find and apply to data analytics manager jobs in Indiana?
You can find and apply to data analytics manager jobs in Indiana on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the state. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your background and target location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
