PIC is a growth-focused marketing agency that partners with marketing teams that want smart execution, clear communication, and measurable results. We're looking for an Account Manager who loves owning client relationships, bringing structure to moving parts, and turning strategy into action.
This role, sometimes called Client Success Manager, or Marketing Project Manager at other agencies, is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of client communication, project coordination, and strategic thinking - and who enjoys working closely with specialists while being accountable for the overall client experience.
What You'll Do
Own the Client Relationship
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted guide for a portfolio of clients across industries and service mixes, walking with them to achieve their growth goals.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships by deeply understanding each client's goals, challenges, and internal dynamics.
- Interpret client needs and convert them into clear direction for internal teams. Simplify internal progress and roadblocks to report back to the client in meaningful updates or discussions for decisions to be made.
- Facilitate PIC's Hero Mission Strategy®: Help clients define their Hero and the Mission they are pursuing to ensure all marketing efforts align with the customer's journey.
Drive Strategy and Execution
- Partner with strategists and channel specialists (SEO, paid media, content, development, design) to shape and execute marketing plans.
- Ensure work is scoped accurately, priorities are clear, and projects move forward efficiently.
- Monitor performance at a high level, flag risks or opportunities early, and help guide optimization conversations.
Run Clear, Valuable Communication
- Lead recurring client meetings with purpose: setting agendas, guiding conversations, and keeping discussions grounded in goals and results.
- Coordinate reporting and insights in a way that tells a story, not just delivers metrics.
- Manage client questions, feedback, and requests with clarity, confidence, and follow-through.
Support Account Growth
- Identify opportunities to expand or refine services when it genuinely benefits the client.
- Work closely with internal leadership and strategists to scope next steps, renewals, and add-on initiatives without being "salesy."
Be a Strong Internal Operator
- Keep projects organized, timelines realistic, and expectations aligned across teams.
- Use tools like Asana and Harvest to track work, time, and progress.
- Contribute to improving templates, processes, and workflows as PIC continues to mature and scale.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
- Enjoy being accountable for outcomes - not just tasks.
- Are comfortable juggling multiple clients, priorities, and conversations at once.
- Can zoom out to see the big picture, then zoom in to make sure details don't slip.
- Like structure but aren't rigid. Processes help you move faster, not slower.
- Communicate clearly, directly, and thoughtfully (especially when things get complex).
- Want to grow alongside a team that's actively refining how it works.
Experience & Skills We're Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in account management, client services, project management, or a similar role (agency experience is a plus).
- Working knowledge of digital marketing services such as SEO, paid media, content, websites, and email marketing.
- Experience working with a variety of marketing tools and willingness to learn more (Familiarity with HubSpot/CRMs, Wordpress/Shopify, GA4, and Asana are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage timelines and dependencies.
- Confidence leading meetings and communicating with stakeholders at different levels.
- A problem-solving mindset and comfort making judgment calls.
- Curiosity and a desire to keep learning as the industry (and our services) evolves.
Hours, Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience and training needs
- 100% employer-paid health insurance for the employee
- Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options
- Flexible schedule with hybrid / remote options
- Company-provided computer
- PTO
- Collaborative, supportive team environment

Digital Marketing Specialist Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a digital marketing specialist in Pennsylvania?
Digital marketing specialist is not a state-licensed profession in Pennsylvania, so there is no board exam or state registration required to work in the role. Most Pennsylvania employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, along with demonstrable campaign experience. Industry certifications such as Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or HubSpot are widely recognized by Pennsylvania employers and can substitute for formal experience at the entry level.
How much do digital marketing specialists make in Pennsylvania?
Digital marketing specialists in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $68,760 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $34,160 for the lowest 10% to over $128,810 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire digital marketing specialists in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring digital marketing specialists in Pennsylvania right now include WebFX, Victaulic, and EAB, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Pennsylvania's large healthcare systems, financial services firms, and regional media companies are among the most consistent sources of digital marketing specialist openings in the state.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most digital marketing specialist jobs?
Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and York have the most digital marketing specialist openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia dominates the count because of its concentration of corporate headquarters, major health systems, and financial services firms, while Pittsburgh's tech and healthcare sectors drive demand there, and the Lehigh Valley's expanding logistics and manufacturing base has added a growing share of marketing roles.
Are there remote digital marketing specialist jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields. Digital marketing specialist work is largely screen-based and output-driven, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 79% of digital marketing specialist openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting how broadly employers in the state have adopted flexible work for this role. Content strategy, SEO, and paid media management are the functions most commonly offered on a fully remote basis.
How can I get hired as a digital marketing specialist in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or coordinator role at a Pennsylvania agency or in-house marketing team, where you build a portfolio of real campaign work. Large Philadelphia and Pittsburgh employers like hospital systems and financial services firms post entry-level marketing associate and digital coordinator openings that do not require prior specialist experience. A Google Ads or HubSpot certification, combined with a portfolio showing self-managed campaigns or freelance projects, gives candidates without a formal work history a concrete edge in Pennsylvania applicant pools.
Where can I find and apply to digital marketing specialist jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to digital marketing specialist jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and preferred location, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
