Food Service Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania

INTRODUCTION

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager 3 to oversee our dining operations at St. Joseph Villa in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. St. Joe's Villa is a Catholic senior living community with over 300 retired sisters and lay residents. The Food Service Manager will be hands-on, moving from front of house to back of house. Typical shift is 10:00am - 6:00pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. Bring your passion for hospitality to a team that values excellence, community, and care.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee 12 satellite kitchens and daily front of house operations for main dining room
* Scheduling of staff
* Ensure timeliness of meal delivery
* Manage one manager and approximately 12 hourly employees
* Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and guests
* Ensure Sodexo standards are met

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* A work history demonstrating strong employee engagement and customer service skills, as well as previous senior dining experience
* The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
* The ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team
* The ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
