INTRODUCTION

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager to lead food and beverage operations at Vinson Hall, a Life Plan Community located on a park-like oasis in vibrant McLean, Virginia and just miles from our nation’s capital.

We’re looking for a hospitality-driven professional with strong front-of-house leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and training staff. A background in restaurants or country clubs is highly preferred. Typical shift is 11:00am - 8:00pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do:

• have oversight of daily front of house operations for the main dining room and bistro;
• manage a front-of-house team of approximately 20 staff members, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism;
• deliver high quality resident dining operations;
• do rounding with residents to ensure satisfaction;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests;
• ensure Sodexo standards are met.
