About Jerry.ai
Jerry is building the first AI-powered advisor to manage all your physical assets.
Your car, home, and motorcycle aren't just purchases, they're the physical embodiment of the life you've worked hard to build. Yet the experience of owning them is stuck in the 90s. Every step of the journey — buying, insuring, maintaining, repairing, selling — is fragmented, complicated, and expensive.
Imagine having a trusted friend in your pocket who takes care of everything: they find you the right car or home at the right price, lock in the best insurance rate without you lifting a finger, remind you before that service appointment turns into an expensive repair, and help you sell at the best price when the time is right. That friend is Jerry.
We started with car insurance in 2019, became one of the top 3 brokers in the U.S., then added driving insights, diagnostics, and a repair marketplace. We've reached 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and have been profitable since 2024. We're now expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and beyond.
Led by serial entrepreneurs and backed by Y Combinator, our team comprises talented and big-hearted leaders from places like Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. Our culture is the #1 reason people join Jerry and stay — we are a small and mighty team of competitive but kind people who think and act like owners, care deeply about the quality and impact of our work, and are relentless in our pursuit of learning and mastery over our craft.
We are proud to consistently rank as one of Y Combinator's Top Companies, Forbes and Statista's Best Startup Employers, and to have received other accolades in fintech and insurtech innovation, workplace culture, and leadership.
We are a remote-first company, but if you prefer in-person or hybrid, we also have offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto.

Insurance Sales Representative Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a insurance sales representative in Tennessee?
To work as an insurance sales representative in Tennessee, you must obtain a license through the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. You choose the appropriate line of authority, such as Property and Casualty or Life and Health, complete a state-approved pre-licensing education course, pass the corresponding Pearson VUE exam, and submit a license application. A high school diploma is the minimum education requirement, though many employers prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Which companies hire insurance sales representatives in Tennessee?
Tennessee insurance sales representative roles are posted by Cleft of the Rock, State Farm, and Farmers Insurance and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Tennessee's mix of large regional carriers, independent agency networks, and direct-sales operations means openings appear across the state in both major metros and smaller markets.
Which Tennessee cities have the most insurance sales representative jobs?
Memphis, Knoxville, and Nashville have the most insurance sales representative openings in Tennessee. Nashville leads because of its concentration of corporate headquarters, regional carrier offices, and a fast-growing population driving demand for personal and commercial lines, while Memphis and Knoxville anchor activity in their respective regions through established agency networks and large employer bases.
Are there remote insurance sales representative jobs in Tennessee?
Yes, though they are less common than in purely desk-based fields, since client relationship-building and local market knowledge are central to the role. About 57% of insurance sales representative openings tied to Tennessee are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting carrier and agency flexibility introduced in recent years. The work most likely to be done remotely includes renewals, service calls, and account management for existing clients rather than new business prospecting.
How can I get hired as a insurance sales representative in Tennessee with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to agency training programs at large carriers such as State Farm or Tennessee Farm Bureau, which hire unlicensed candidates and support them through the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance licensing process. Entry roles with titles like insurance sales trainee or customer service representative at regional agencies provide a direct bridge to a licensed sales position. Completing your pre-licensing coursework before applying, even without a job offer in hand, signals seriousness and shortens onboarding time for hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to insurance sales representative jobs in Tennessee?
You can find and apply to insurance sales representative jobs in Tennessee on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring across the state. Search the listings by city or specialty, find the roles that fit your experience and license type, and apply directly to the ones that match.
