Join our dynamic and growing dietitian team as a Private Practice Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, In this energetic and impactful position, you counsel patients from a variety of different backgrounds and conditions and inspire patients to reach their goals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations, to identify specific dietary needs and health risks.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) preventatively and for chronic disease management
- Provide nutrition counseling and health coaching to motivate patients toward healthier behaviors, weight loss goals, and improved overall wellness.
- Utilize our electronic health records (EHR) accurately for documentation of patient progress, care plans, and nutritional support interventions. We have a scribe in place to assist with notetaking!
- Stay current with the latest research in clinical nutrition, physiology, and dietary guidelines to inform best practices in patient care.
Experience
- Preferred experience for this role includes someone who has worked in private practice before
- A love of helping patients, especially lower income patients, is pivitol
- Experience working with or familiarity in Kosher meal plans a strong plus!
- CDN, CNS or RD require
