Position Summary
Home Care Agency with locations in Greenbelt, MD and Alexandria, VA seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Healthcare Operations Coordinator to support daily home-care operations in both locations. This role combines strong healthcare administrative execution along with operations strategy. There is a potential for growth within the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, and follow up with caregiver candidates.
- Coordinate caregiver onboarding, background checks, credentials, and required documentation.
- Ensure caregivers are fully cleared before beginning assignments.
- Assist with scheduling, open shifts, call-outs, and staffing coverage.
- Support AxisCare, MyEVV, WellSky, and related documentation processes.
- Assist with Virginia Medicaid, VA, and private-pay client operations and admissions.
- Monitor compliance documents, expirations, referrals, hiring, staffing, and client records.
- Respond professionally to routine client and caregiver concerns and escalate risks promptly.
- Support the Operations Manager with daily priorities, process improvements, and SOPs.
- Cross-train to oversee routine operations when the Operations Manager is unavailable.

- Home-care scheduling, caregiver recruiting, credentialing, or compliance experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Medicaid/EVV, VA services, AxisCare, MyEVV, WellSky, or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, computer, and documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work at both the Alexandria, VA and Greenbelt, MD offices.
Multi-Site Schedule
The position will work between Alexandria, VA and Greenbelt, MD Offices. The initial schedule may include approximately two days per week in Alexandria, VA and three days in Greenbelt, MD with flexibility based on operational needs.
Pay: $50,683.55 - $61,038.25 per year
