ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is seeking a vascular surgeon to join our growing practice.

About Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford

• With 407 beds, this regional referral center features a modern facility built in 2010 and a newly-renovated 16 operating room suite.
• The hospital is centrally located in the fastest growing county in the state of Tennessee on a beautiful 68-acre campus on the bustling “Medical Center Parkway” corridor with convenient access to dining and shopping areas.
• The hospital campus is currently undergoing a $110M expansion project, which includes the addition of 36 new high acuity beds, a parking garage dedicated to hospital employees and physicians, 18 new critical care unit beds, six additional NICU bassinets, 17 new post-surgery bays.
• The hospital is well known in the community for its women’s services and well-established heart surgery program.
• Saint Thomas Health and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

What You Will Need:

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
