Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Coordination
- Assists with creation of short and long-term goals and strategies
- Manages all project communications, generating appropriate correspondence to facilitate a well-documented project while ensuring timely responses
- Maintains project file with key milestones and status
- Assists with review and markup of project contracts as required
- Maintains existing relationships with vendors and customers
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Contract & Documentation Support
- Assist with review and managing of all projects related company reports as required
- Assist with creation of purchase orders and follows release procedures for all material
- Assist with creation of change orders and ICO’s per company guidelines
Technical Review & Submittals
- Identify door swings, frame elevations, jamb profiles, wall types, and hardware information from architectural drawings
- Read, analyze, and understand hardware, wood door, and hollow metal specifications to effectively create, update, or coordinate related submittals including literature for architect review
Engineering Support & Scope Compliance
- Ensures that Engineering functions are completed in accordance with established production and contract scope requirements
- Works closely with Engineering to maintain project schedules, implement changes/revisions, review and revise returned submittals as required
Miscellaneous

Qualifications
- Associate Degree/Trade School and or related experience
- One to two years as Project Assistant in the door and hardware industry or related
- Strong competency in computer software and project knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Able to organize multiple projects
- Well organized with ability to plan & coordinate
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong problem-solving abilities
