Full Time Deputy Clerk/ Deputy Registrar/ Land Use Board Secretary
- Township of Mansfield, Warren County
Seeking a qualified professional for the full-time position of Deputy Clerk/Deputy Registrar/Land Use Board Secretary to assist with the daily operations of the office of the Township Clerk/Registrar and serve as Secretary to the Land Use Board. Duties include assistance with OPRA Requests, elections, agenda preparation, animal licensing, vital statistics, and other administrative tasks and municipal functions as assigned in the Clerk’s office. Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and tracking municipal applications for Land Use Board, Zoning, and various permits and the coordination with applicants and Township professionals including the recording and maintenance of official board records and minutes. Attendance and administrative support at Monthly Land Use Board meetings are required. Applicants must have excellent communication and customer service skills and be fully competent using common software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior Municipal Government experience preferred. Must be willing to obtain Certified Municipal Registrar certification within one year of employment and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
